Enabling access to
world-leading technology

Expanding access to our world leading connectivity in partnership with Indigenous governments is the foundation of our reconciliation strategy. Through bold thinking and meaningful action, we’re always building Canada to make the future friendly — creating positive change for generations to come.

In 2025, our co-funding partnerships expanded connectivity to 23 Indigenous lands and 7 communities.

We are privileged to collaborate with Indigenous leaders, organizations and governments of all levels, building meaningful relationships as we work towards a future where all communities are connected. Hear from members of some of the communities we have recently connected as they share how access to TELUS’ networks has changed the way they work and live in their home communities.

TELUS PureFibre® is a world-class wireline infrastructure that provides access to digital tools that are essential for enhancing health, social and economic outcomes. As one of the most advanced broadband network technologies available today, our gigabit-enabled TELUS PureFibre investment is designed to keep up with rapidly evolving technology, delivering increasingly faster connections.

This infrastructure forms the backbone of TELUS’ 5G network, enabling access to the next generation of wireless technology — the fastest and most robust communications technology globally. Our wireless LTE coverage (wHSIA) leverages our comprehensive infrastructure to bring high-speed internet access to previously unconnected remote areas.

TELUS’ commitment to artistic integrity

We are committed to supporting the artistic practices of Indigenous Peoples while being mindful of the historic role organizations have played in the misappropriation of Indigenous art and culture. We have an obligation and responsibility to ensure that TELUS’ use of Indigenous art in our digital and physical spaces is respectful of Indigenous artists.

In 2024, expanding on our commitment to artistic integrity, we declared that we will not use AI technology to create or replicate the art of or imagery of Indigenous Peoples.
